A speech-processing tool designed for SSB transceivers. It takes the voice signal from the microphone connected to the soundcard, processes the audio in real-time, and sends it back to the soundcard. The setup process for the DSP functions is interactive: the tool records your voice, plays it back through the processor, and allows you to adjust the settings while hearing the effects of your changes immediately.
This program is a speech pre-processor for single side band transceivers. It receives the voice signal and sends the processed audio back to the sound card. You need to have a sound card installed and a microphone connected to the computer. It includes an equalizer, bandpass filters, noise gate, compressor, and RF envelope clipper.
The configuration procedure of the digital signal processing is interactive: The time of recording is 5 seconds. 1. You have to select the input and output sound devices. 2. You can speak to the microphone to adjust the gain in dB. 3. The program records your voice. 4. Play back the recording and adjust the output gain, enable and change the equalization effect, enable and adjust the gate / compressor / clipper and add noise while you are listening and hearing the effect at the same time. It has real-time spectrum and histogram.
